Davidson & Associates Insurance is honored to have received the Business & Leadership Award for Large Business, presented by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. We would like to give a special thank you to Share of Vancouver for nominating us for the award, and to GVC for making these events possible.
According to GVC, “The Large Business of the Year Award is given to an organization with more than 25 employees. This business will likely be growing in market share and total sales year over year. The business will be creating more jobs for our community due to their growth. Additionally, the business will be acknowledged for being a great place to work and for delivering products or services which provide great value to their customers. Many of our previous honorees in this category are also well known for their willingness to give back in a way that helps our community thrive.”
Davidson & Associates has been growing the last few years, adding new employees and even brand new job categories. We pride ourselves on our model of community support, exemplified by our Referral Rewards Program, community sponsorships, paid volunteer time and more. Our Referral Rewards Program chooses 12 nonprofits annually, and donates $25 to the nonprofit for every referral received within their designated month. We consider the community to be a member of the Davidson team by devoting money to sponsorships in the amount of an employee’s annual salary. We offer our team members multiple opportunities throughout the year for paid volunteer time off, which allows them to give back to causes important to them. We know it’s a privilege to be able to do business in this community, which is why we want to offer as much support to the people who in turn support us.
