The mission of the Parks Foundation of Clark County is to raise funds through public and private partnerships in support of the parks, trails and recreational programs of Clark County.
Clark County boasts a natural inheritance second to none. The Parks Foundation recognizes and values the benefits of our environment and works to ensure the vibrancy of our community by inspiring children of all ages to connect with nature.
The Foundation accomplishes its mission by creating and nurturing innovative partnerships, administering strategic grants, and establishing special funds to enhance the parks, trails and recreational programs of Clark County.
The Parks Foundation serves as a resource and network to the individual groups and organizations working to enhance the parks, trails, and recreational programs of Clark County and provides annual funding to the cities of Clark County through its Community Grant program.
Ways You Can Help:
The Parks Foundation is looking for grant writing help. They are seeking volunteers to help research, draft and submit grant applications on behalf of the Foundation and the programs and projects the Foundation supports. Volunteer Outreach Team: The Parks Foundation is seeking a core team of outreach volunteers to help their efforts by: Providing information to the community about the mission, vision and goals of the Foundation. Help promote the many wonderful recreational opportunities available throughout Clark County. Help encourage Parks Foundation membership, and host outreach tables at events around the community. The Foundation will provide the training to help you feel confident talking about all that they do. Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of events, times, and places to lend their enthusiasm for the parks, trails, and recreational programs of Clark County.
