Bruce Davidson opened the doors of Davidson & Associates Insurance on March 1, 1990. Since then, the agency has grown from an agency of 1 to an agency of 23 professional insurance advisers. When asked to describe a key to his professional success, Bruce said “We have had the privilege of working with some of our clients for more than 30 years, that is an honor. A key aspect of working with our clients is helping them to understand the potential risks that are around them. Protecting loved ones and businesses takes more than a compliance mentality. Understanding what each policy does and does not provide is a challenge for clients. We simplify that challenge and make it understandable,” he says. “Every day, we see policies afford protection to our clients against financial loss.” Bruce has always believed strongly about giving back to the community in service as well as through financial support. He has served in leadership roles with the Rotary Club of Vancouver, Clark County Foundation Board of Directors, Identity Clark County Board of Directors, and the Fort Vancouver National Trust Board. He created a way to support non-profit organizations in our area by implementing the Davidson Insurance Referral Rewards program where several hundred dollars is donated each month from the agency to a designated non-profit organization benefitting from the number of referrals the agency receives during that month. In 2021, after serving his clients so well for 31 years, Bruce retired, leaving the agency securely in the hands of new owners, Bryce Davidson and Tony Johnson, under whose leadership the agency continues to grow and thrive and serve our community, just like he planned.
