Meet the wonderful, Margaret Rogers!
- Where would you consider your "hometown": Coos Bay/North Bend, OR – go Bulldogs!
- How long have you lived in the Vancouver area?: 8 years, total of 17 years in Portland/Vancouver.
- What is your favorite thing to do in Vancouver? I love driving up the back roads around Battle Ground and Ridgefield. The Salmon Creek Trail is a great place to walk and relax. The flights at Thirsty Sasquatch are great. I love going to Shipyard Millie’s to find vintage goodies.
- Would you rather live on the beach or in the mountains?: The beach, of course! Who wants to go surfing??
- What is your favorite snack?: Is this where I’m supposed to sound healthy? Well, I love the combination of fruit and a good quality sharp cheddar cheese. Cheese is healthy, right?
- If you had an extra hour everyday, what would you do with it?: If I had to choose something OTHER than sleep, I’d say read a good book or just go for a drive.
- What is your biggest fear?: Heights and spiders.
- Is there a book that you could read over and over again and not get sick of it?: I honestly can’t choose one. I’m more of a non-fiction, biography reader, but I am currently reading the first book in the Outlander series. It’s definitely an engrossing novel.
- What is your favorite movie?: You mean something other than a cheesy Elvis movie? I can’t say that I have a favorite, but one that comes to mind in the comedy arena is “The Party” with Peter Sellers. It’s great comedy, and mid-century eye candy!
- What is your dream vacation?: Definitely England and Ireland. Though the more attainable Palm Springs is always on my radar!
