Tirza Meuljic Wins the 2015 Sing Fourth Teen Vocal Competition! For the past five years we have kicked off our Independence Day celebration with the Sing Fourth Teen Vocal Competition produced by the Fort Vancouver National Trust, and it has been our honor to be the presenting sponsor. Throughout the years we have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and talent from our high school contestants, and this year was no different. This year's winner is 14-year-old Tirza Meuljic from CAM Academy! She sang "Popular" from the musical Wicked. She won a $1,000 scholarship. Hannah Wilson of Skyview High School won second place and a $500 scholarship by singing " Something's Got a Hold on Me" and third place, which included a $250 scholarship, was awarded to Mia Josberger of Cedar Tree Classical School who sang, "Defying Gravity," also from the musical Wicked. Each also received a Beacock Music gift card.
Other vocalists competing in the Sing Fourth Teen Vocal Competition presented by Davidson & Associates Insurance representing PEMCO Insurance were Lauren Barton, Mountain View High School; Kaleb Burris, Evergreen High School; Bella Olsen, River Home Link; Becca Weinberg, Camas High School; The winners were selected by a panel of musician judges: Asha Barendregt, Bryan Podwys, Nick Gimarelli, Andy Madson, Carrie Cunningham, Steve Hale and Blake Sakamoto. Contestants were judged on originality, skill, poise, audience appeal and family-friendly content
